Meet the CHES Principal
Mrs. Kristy Hale
It is sincerely an honor to serve as the principal of Center Hill Elementary, a school that holds a special place in my heart. It is my desire to carry on with the traditions of the school and pursue an increased level of academic achievement. Our mission is to instill a lifelong love of learning in a safe yet challenging, loving environment that encourages self-discovery and academic excellence. My philosophy of education is centered upon building and developing positive relationships with students, parents, and the community. As we foster these relationships, the teachers and staff will focus on providing a variety of educational experiences that promote student growth and learning throughout the year. The staff and I are looking forward to a productive and rewarding school year with the most wonderful students in America.
I graduated from Mississippi State University in 1999 with a degree in English Education. I received my gifted certification from the University of Mississippi and my Pre-AP and AP certifications from the University of Arkansas and the University of Mississippi. I previously taught Pre-AP English at Tupelo High School and AP Gifted English Literature and Composition at Horn Lake High School. I am married to Harold Hale, also an administrator in the district, and we have two sons, Kasdin and Trapper. It is a great blessing to be the principal of Center Hill Elementary School. Go Mustangs!
