About the Teacher

Education

I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I am certified by the state of Mississippi to teach grades K-6, Pre-K, as well as Special Education.

Experience

This will be my 10th year of teaching. I was a stay at home mom for 10 years before pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a teacher of young children. I completed a full year of student teaching in a Kindergarten classroom at Center Hill Elementary before accepting the position as the Special Education Preschool Teacher. I love working at Center Hill and I have a passion for working with Special Needs students. My classroom is structured, educational, and most of all...FUN! I enjoy the energy and enthusiasm of preschoolers and I try to use lots of creativity and variety in finding ways to reach these little ones.

Mrs. Julie

The assistant teacher is Julie Ring. Julie has worked at CHES for 10 years, the majority of that time has been spent in our preschool classroom. She and her husband Mike have two adult children, Abbi and Jon.
